I love being a Pilates teacher because I love to teach people how to move better and feel better, I enjoy the interaction with my clients in a group or 1-1 setting, and I love the flexibility (excuse the pun!) of my job. You can read what my clients say about me on my Facebook page.

As an ex-professional ballet dancer, I have felt the benefits of Pilates most of my life, helping to complement the rigorous demands of years of ballet training. Following a career ending injury in 2014, I qualified as a Pilates teacher with Brigid McCarthy as part of the Independent Pilates Teachers Association . I have since gained my Reformer, Springboard, HIP Pilates and pre/postnatal Pilates qualifications. I truly believe Pilates is for everybody regardless of age, athletic ability or flexibility. Knowing the benefits of Pilates first hand (especially postnatally) I am passionate about helping others discover what Pilates can do for them.
I am also a qualified ballet teacher and have taught ballet and Pilates in many of London’s top studios and schools until having my baby boy in 2019 when I relocated to Surrey. I enjoy attending regular courses and classes to keep my knowledge and repertoire up to date and varied.

I am a Level 3 qualifed Pilates teacher, having trained with Body Control Pilates. I have been doing Pilates for several years, I am an active person who loves to weight train and run long distances. However, such a physically active lifestyle also comes with drawbacks and injuries. I have in the past suffered from lower back pain, knee pain and poor posture.
Prior to teaching, I was sat at a desk all day due to my full time job. This also led to neck tension and shoulder pain. Pilates has honestly changed my life, how I train and how I even sit at a desk. I cannot describe the benefits enough! I rarely suffer from running injuries now and I am able to recover so much quicker!
This has led to my passion for wanting to help other people like myself, who also want to strengthen their bodies, and who want to live pain free. I am constantly learning and wanting to improve, and would love you all to join me in allowing me to teach you, whether you are just starting your Pilates journey, or have been practising for a while.
I have worked within the fitness industry since 1995. I have worked within the fitness industry since 1995. Over the years I realised that exercising clients was the easy bit really, but to get more from our bodies it was important to educate my clients to move body, mind and breath together. This brought me into the world of Pilates in 2002. In 2016 I became a Yoga Instructor and followed this up with restorative yoga and meditation. This is a wonderful blend to add to pilates classes to help during stressful times that we all encounter.
Having had injuries during my career, and also having osteopenia and arthritis, this allows me to understand the body better and work with movements to manage, adapt and modify exercises to help you get the most from your own practice.
Last year I qualified as an Exercise Instructor to support cancer, so all combined together it is my absolute passion to help others get the body moving with ease, to feel relaxed and calm as often as we can.
I really look forward to working with you.
