Pilates and Christmas Wreath-Making 7th December 2019

Please join me for an afternoon of Pilates and Christmas Wreath-Making on Saturday 7th December 2-5.30pm in Pirbright Village Hall.

We will start with a 45 minute Pilates class, then break for a glass of mulled wine and a home-made mince-pie.  

Florist Georgina Taylor will then demonstrate how to make a beautiful Christmas wreath.  You will be provided with all the materials to create your own wreath to take home with you.  George and I will be on hand for inspiration and advice and the mulled wine and mince-pies will continue to flow, to sustain your creative efforts!

The cost is £45 per person to include Pilates, mulled wine and mince-pies, and your wreath to take home. 

Back to Basics Workshop 18th January 2020

Join Specialist Physiotherapist Linda Tranter (MCSP, MPOGP) and Pilates Instructor Claire Seager at a workshop where we aim to de-mystify the pelvic floor and explore your core!  

Are you confident that you are doing your pelvic floor exercises correctly?  Do you understand the anatomy and structure of your pelvic floor and core muscles?  Are you concerned about menopause or stress incontinence?  Linda will teach us about the structure of the pelvic floor and how to exercise these muscles correctly, explain how the Pelvic floor relates to Pilates, and answer your questions.

Pilates Instructor Claire will lead a movement session going back to basics and exploring the concepts of neutral spine and pelvis, rib to hip connection, engaging the pelvic floor, and breathing patterns.  Perfect for those who are new to Pilates or for those who wish to deepen their understanding.

Please wear exercise clothing and bring your mat.  Refreshments will be provided and you will receive a take home exercise sheet.

2020 Pilates Retreats

Watch this space for details of my Pilates Retreats in rural France in 2020.  Held at Font Saint Martin near Carcassonne in the south of France, the weekend includes Pilates, massage, fresh air, swimming, walks, and plenty of wine and cheese!
