Our Gentle Pilates classes are perfect if you prefer a slower pace, are returning to exercise after a break, or are recovering from an injury or operation. These sessions focus on controlled, mindful movements that strengthen your body, improve your posture, and enhance your overall mobility, without ever feeling rushed or pressured.
In Gentle Pilates, the emphasis is on quality over quantity. We move with intention, allowing you time to connect with your body and understand each exercise. You’ll leave each session feeling more open, relaxed, and confident in your movement.
These classes use mat-based Pilates exercises designed to build strength in your core, back, and hips, while also improving flexibility in your spine and joints. Each movement can be adapted to your personal needs, and you’ll always be given options so you can work at a level that feels right for you.
Breathing techniques are integrated throughout to help you relax, focus, and get the most from each exercise.
You’ll need a Pilates or yoga mat, comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement, resistance band, Pilates ball and a bottle of water.
Gentle Pilates is ideal if you’re 40+, easing back into exercise, or looking for a safe and effective way to build strength and mobility without high-impact movements. It’s also great if you want to feel more in tune with your body and enjoy a calm, encouraging atmosphere.
